Workplace Culture Defined by Burnout and Uneven Accountability - Consultant R&M Consultants Employee Review

Pros

I worked with some dependable people who cared about doing good work despite challenging circumstances. I learned how to navigate complex workplace dynamics. Good health insurance.

Cons

Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company as a place to work. There were significant issues with leadership, organization, accountability, and workplace culture. Management often felt disorganized, with shifting priorities and expectations that were not communicated clearly. I also felt that some managers did not consistently lead by example or treat staff with the level of professional respect employees deserve. Accountability standards did not feel evenly applied. Certain employees appeared to be given more latitude than others, while dependable staff were often left to absorb the impact of unresolved workplace issues. Over time, this contributed to frustration, distrust, low morale, and burnout. Work/life balance was also a serious concern. In my experience, I was expected to carry heavy workloads without adequate support, and compensation did not feel aligned with the level of stress, responsibility, and effort required.

Pros

Great benefits, great snacks, lots of opportunity for professional development, fun workplace culture, management transparency. I genuinely look forward to going to work and I enjoy working with all disciplines at R&M. They just raised their contributions to 401K’s and have improved other benefits. The marketing staff is always providing fun opportunity’s for volunteering and giving back to the community.

Pros

Good pay and great benefits.

Cons

Toxic work culture. Those who have been there a long time think it is the best but if you are new coming in, it's awful. It isn't you, it's them. Not an inclusive environment.
