Pros
1. There are big name companies to work with that depend on the RAM product line 2. You get to be creative with developing custom mounting solutions 3. You build your day how you want to, and speak who you want to speak with. 4. There's a constant source of leads from trade shows and from the fact that RAM is known globally for providing rugged mounts. 5. CEO is a smart man, although can come off as harsh. He doesn't intend for this to be the case, and is simply a very direct and technical gentleman. If you tell him exactly what you need from him and why, good things will happen for you.
Cons
1. Projects can get shut down quickly if upper management disagrees with the proposed solution, even if already approved by the customer. 2. Expect to work long days without much flexibility in hours. "Butts in seats equates to working"... or at least the perception of working. 3. Data entry into the CRM system is quite intensive. SalesForce is your best friend.
