Pros

Great people to work with, supervisors are friendly and flexible if you have other work commitments, upper management offers constructive feedback, and training for projects. Sometimes they even offer food, depending on the project.

Cons

Employment is project-based so if there are no projects to work on, guess who doesn't get paid? TSC interviewers, that's who. It's tough getting any more than 12-24 hours a week here! On a generous work week I was able to work 30 hours, but that was as much as I was ever able to work here in a given week for the 8 months I worked there.

Pros

Cons

You will need to network and find your own projects, sometimes finding ~3-5 projects at one time to ensure full utilization.

Pros

Interesting work, some brilliant colleagues, access to senior decision makers throughout government.

Cons

Stressful trying to stay fully staffed on projects (i.e., internal market within RAND)
