Pros
People are great. Brilliant colleagues and close knit teams and can learn a lot very quickly about research consultancies. If you are happy being a generalist in your field, you will get to work on some very cool projects.
Cons
Hours are very long and inconsistent, performance expectations are out of line with pay structure and experience/education expectations (MA/MSc required for entry level role at £25-30k). Management is unhelpful with staff concerns, with several staff having experienced burnout and mental health issues as a result of the work environment. Little room for creativity, quality research or specialisation due to volume of work and timelines. It functions like a management consultancy but without the pay. Very little work life balance.
