Consistently didn't make enough money to afford groceries. Brought this up to my employer and asked for a raise on three separate occasions, and was turned down every time. The third time I brought it up I asked for $3 be added to my hourly wage so I could pay rent, they instead told me that I met all the metrics required for that and proceeded to give me an additional 46 cents per hour instead. Working for a single physician also means that whenever that physician takes a vacation for 2 weeks there are no additional work someone in this position can pick up without being cross-trained.
