Pros

- Good culture/generally nice people, RBC does a nice job at hiring those with the same values/fit. I genuinely like most of my coworkers - Many Employee Resource Groups that help you network. The ERGs also are open for junior employees to hold leadership positions - Mostly respectful of PTO (usually only had to work a few hours when out on PTO) - Daily dress for your day (business casual) attire when in the office unless meeting with a client

Cons

- Terrible work like balance at times (deal flow dependent) - Extremely lean junior team support and many VP+ level employees - Analyst bonus cuts even though analysts do not directly affect deal flow - Not very organized with administrative to-dos (repetitive pipelines/outdated systems/frequent miscommunications/)

Pros

Stable work life balance. The culture is really great, very easy to work with complex management and managers. Willing to help you grow and learn with clients

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth unless you come in the door with that expectation. It can be very easy to get stuck in this role as your pay slowly increases and the job title mostly stays the same. Associate promotions and raises are rarely given and take a lot of coercion to get.
