Pros

* Strong bank that punches above its weight class * It's culturally much more tolerable than most investment banks * Hours can be more favorable than typical investment banking hours with some groups * Perks include dinner stipend and Uber home when working late

Cons

* You will have to navigate inner-office politics and egos (as with any bank) * You will definitely work some late hours and weekends * Total compensation is usually a little under market for bulge bracket at junior levels

Pros

Stable work life balance. The culture is really great, very easy to work with complex management and managers. Willing to help you grow and learn with clients

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth unless you come in the door with that expectation. It can be very easy to get stuck in this role as your pay slowly increases and the job title mostly stays the same. Associate promotions and raises are rarely given and take a lot of coercion to get.
