Pros

Good benefits if you don't mind having all you assets locked with RBC. Leaving is complicated and limited help with Sunlife when it's time to change your investments

Cons

They want you to be fast and accurate and try to motivate you with a yearly bonus but when the system is an issue and they're trying to integrate a new module you don't get compensation for time lost because of it. If everyone is fast but 80% accurate the average time per transaction is impacted only by rapidity and so if you process at the average time but have 99% accuracy your bonus will be almost nothing because you're not faster than the average.

Pros

Stable work life balance. The culture is really great, very easy to work with complex management and managers. Willing to help you grow and learn with clients

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth unless you come in the door with that expectation. It can be very easy to get stuck in this role as your pay slowly increases and the job title mostly stays the same. Associate promotions and raises are rarely given and take a lot of coercion to get.
