Pros
Work/life balance, they're good at approving time off or scheduling as long as you request it at least 2 weeks in advance; employee discounts are incredible; co-workers are all knowledgable in recreational activities or at least want to learn; customers are great & also a good source of information/alternative perspectives; employee rentals; helping customers gear up appropriately is a great reward, having them tell you how much they appreciate you/your co-workers is an amazing feeling; retirement kicks in after 3 months; management has been good at listening to concerns and finding solutions.
Cons
Benefits don't kick in until after you've worked 1,000 hours, which could take a year as a part time employee, but this is pretty much negated by the fact that they offer benefits for anyone that works at least 20 hours a week, which is pretty rare- especially in retail.
