Pros

-I loved some of the coworkers, it was great having good conversations on long spills or learning from a senior staff member who had done it 100 times - lots of opportunity for extra hours on spills -not a strict billable hour quota and not expected to work much more than 40 hours unless strict deadlines -basically guaranteed a bonus and raise if you can maintain decent budgets in projects - they will invest in training opportunities

Cons

-former department supervisor and senior staff would verbally belittle younger staff members in group settings or as soon as the person was out of the office -younger staff blamed for budget shortfalls on projects -our department had tons of turnover, they share this info graphic of company retention being 12 years, but outside of the 4 oldest people in the department every single staff member except for 1 was laid off or left within the last 2 years. -1.8% 401k match with a 5 year vest and really slow pto accruement

Pros

Good company culture and infrastructure. Good work/life balance. Work scope is generally enjoyable. Clients are good more often than not.

Cons

Base pay is sub-par, benefits are average, and the annual bonuses are laughable. Company outings could be of higher quality and quantity.
