Pros
Stand up desks, healthy snacks, white noise speakers. I would like to say flexibility, however the core hours have recently been extended leaving less flexibility.
Cons
The company has a culture-heavy environment, but it is overshadowed by disorganized management and unprofessional behavior. Leadership lacks structure, leading to unclear direction and inconsistent guidance. Despite promises to address gaps and improve processes, these commitments remain unfulfilled. Additionally, management and leaders openly discuss team members’ skillsets, pay, and performance issues obviouslyl in a negative connotation to non-leaders (peers of the subject) creating a toxic work atmosphere that undermines professionalism and trust. Nepotism and favoritism further impact team morale, with opportunities and recognition seemingly based on personal relationships rather than merit (example: Manager presented plans for one team member and stated the same was not done for another.) In addition, management has openly taken on the work of one team member, admitting their lack of experience, yet there has not been recourse. Overall, while the company promotes a strong culture, its execution is flawed due to poor leadership, lack of accountability, and an unstructured work environment.
