Pros

There are some great, down-to-Earth staff members. Management has been improving peer support led groups.

Cons

Management is the worst. They have an 85% turn over rate, yet fire staff for first offense causing constant short staffing. Minimal training leading to patient and staff injury. No deescelation training for staff. Patient ratios are 16:1 inpatient and 12:1 crisis but can be much worse when short staffed. Inpatient services include seeing a provider once a day, peer support groups, and television. Benefits are a joke. HSA plans where coverage doesn’t start until deductible paid. Very expensive family plans with high deductible. Three weeks PTO that includes sick time.

Pros

Schedule, pay, and most of the teammates are good to work with. Can do what you want if you show up for work or even if you don't. Get to really help someone and have an impact on their life every now and then.

Cons

Bad leadership from the top down. No enforcement of policies and procedures other than the RI way which means almost no one gets turned away no matter how problematic they may be. Employees not held accountable for being late, missing work, not doing there job, etc. No room for advancement that's worth it. Most clients view it as a shelter.
