Pros

In general, employees treated well. President and top level management seem competent and fair. Benefits above average for staff, no compelling reason to unionize. Focus on preparing students for work, rather than research. Lots of internship opportunities. Very techie / multi-cultural / excited students / events

Cons

Lower level management sometimes lacking management skills and not well monitored - may be many years behind in "annual" reviews without apparent repercussions. Lots of older equipment that never dies. Training budgets lacking - at least in some dept / institutes.
