Pros

good health insurance, can get free tuition for a master degree after working for 1 year, then continue work full time and do school part time. Every department is run very differently, some are great others not so much

Cons

Low wages. They will always have you do more than your job description and work for wage bands far beyond yours. This is a stepping stone position.
