Pros

Corporate Backing Home Office Appearance In house leasing

Cons

Pay plan in a new unexplored territory is unfair. (You’d need to sell 4 new accounts per month to make any sort of money to support family.) It is simply impossible in an area without existing accounts to boost income. Fuel is not reimbursed. Confusing CRMs (they ask you to use 4 different programs). One for pricing, another for your deal breakdown $, one to log your activity. And yet another for 3rd party docs. Painfully slow turnaround time to get all the documents signed and in order. You frequent having to continue going back to a customer that you’ve sold to get more signed. VERY SLOW delivery on new machines. On more than 4 occasions I lost deals that I sold because it was taking too long to get the ordered equipment, giving my competitors time and a chance to change customers’ mind on switching vendors to RJYoung Co. 3 1/2 months of this gig, we were unable to complete orders because of a ransomware attack. Management did nothing to accommodate and support their sales people.
