Pros

Competitive compensation, tons of team building events throughout the year, and a great team of people

Cons

It's a public accounting firm, expect long hours and big workloads. Busy season lasted from January through March/early April, 60 hours a week were expected, but that's on par with a public firm of its size--if you're going to a public firm you should already expect that. Client sizes are much smaller, so you bounce from engagement to engagement week to week, meaning you don't typically close out your client in one week and tasks drag into future engagements. Requires more management of time and workloads than a bigger firm where your attention is on one client for a substantial period of time.

Pros

Flexible work environment. Good office and firm culture. A lot of learning opportunities because of the diversity of client work. Supportive of pursuing the CPA and other licenses.

Cons

Staffing shortages in select areas. Not enough communication through different service lines. Compensation is fair but could benefit from market adjustments.

Pros

Great people, fun atmosphere, used to be a best place to work

Cons

Vision is lacking - the company has strayed from what made it great, which was being a best place to work for employees. Now, completely focused on budgets and AI. The human element of RKL is no longer important and we are only focusing on what everyone else around is doing.
