Pros
The people here are really friendly and nice, and RPA has a very nurturing environment/culture in which to grow. Creatively, the work keeps getting better and better - especially since all the creative departments were integrated. That means plenty of opportunities to work in more than one medium, be that tv, print, online, direct, outdoor... Lots of collaboration within the creative department, and I haven't seen any backstabbing/heavy politics which can be common at other shops. Lots of respect too. Which is probably one of the reasons why many people at RPA have been here for 10+ years. Other pros: encouragement of balance between work/personal life, summer happy hours, great location
Cons
RPA has traditionally been an accounts-led agency, and while some inroads are being made old habits die hard. Being a creative doesn't give you the status or power you get at some other agencies - to get good work through be prepared to do at least some fighting. That said, if you're committed to doing good work and pushing for it you can definitely get it produced here.
