Pros
There are no Pros to working for RPM Technologies
Cons
The company's management is too full of themselves to bring this company into the current century. They promise you the world when they interview you, and then when it comes time to start work, suddenly 'I' misheard what I was told. The software is based on VB and early .NET,,,technologies that went out the window years ago. Very low employee retention. You'll notice that employees last on average 2-3 months. I was there a few months and had three neighbours because they kept getting fired, leaving. The senior employees have all been there 10+ years leaving no opportunities for promotion, all the senior managers have been in their places since the 1990s. Their processes are old and based on 1980s principles. Create a Use Case? Company looks at you like you are from Mars. Create a Business Process Flowchart? Company thinks you've wasted precious time. Microsft Visio? Not here...try the next company. Company has no faith in employees. Even if you have 20 years of experience at another company, you'll still have to have your work approved by a senior analyst. Project timelines are very tight, sometimes less than 8 hours. As others have stated, the time tracking is to the 5 minute category, a minute over and you’ll hear about it. A practitioner of IIBA/PMI ideology?….again, not welcome here as they don’t align with company culture. Sad really because the people are class acts when not discussing work.
