Pros
Good downtown location with a lot of food options in the area. Other than that, this was a truly terrible place to work.
Cons
This is by far the worst place I've ever worked. The management and executive teams are truly incompetent. As an employee, your ideas will not be listened to, your needs will not be met (professional nor financial), and your stress levels will sky rocket. Here is a list of cons in no particular order of ranking: - the pay is far below industry standard for new staff in any position. You will be promised a big raise at your annual review and they will give you a low percentage increase and act as though they did you a favour. - they use very old (if any) technology to keep themselves organized. They will not accept suggestions on how to improve. - the executive team is incredibly rude and often very offensive in their language and how they speak about staff members. The most unprofessional executive team I've ever encountered. - there is no trust in very capable staff. Often having them work on menial tasks that are not their responsibility - the managers and executive team will not take responsibility for errors. This causes staff to come to work very stressed because they never know what they will get into trouble about at any time. - management does not and will not try to get to know you. - the sales team act very entitled and will treat you with very little respect The list can go on and on. Essentially, if you are considering accepting a position at RPM, please read through all of these reviews and rethink your decision. Stay unemployed and wait for a better offer before you waste year of your life and risk potential health problems caused by anxiety and stress.
