Pros
There are no pros. It was the worst experience of my career - so I had to cut it short and move to another role within 6 months of joining. They hired me as a BA (Business Analyst), but what they really want a BA to do is to re-format client's existing documentation, in a field that you have no prior experience in. If you have a specialization, your key valuable skills will not be used there. On the contrary, you will be made to re-format documents so that RPM can bill their clients for the number of hours you say you worked on that.
Cons
- Micro-management is the key for them; they want you to put down what you did for each minute of the 8 hour day (each day you have to log 8 hours, not 7.5, unlike any other job) - They treat you like a contractor, even though you are a full time employee - They do not value your specialization - 70% of BA's time is utilized for Testing (Quality Assurance), and only 30% of the BA's time is for writing documentation - i.e. re-formatting client's requirements - Their salaries are below average - The management there seem to have the attitude of an authoritarian (small shop mentality)
