Pros
I'm pretty surprised by some of the negative reviews. This was my first development job and it was a super nurturing and positive environment, I was there for about a year and a half. I worked with a lot of the same team on just a handful of projects, but I never saw any of the backstabbing, yelling, or drama that's mentioned in some recent reviews. All of the PM's I personally worked with, and those I didn't, seemed professional most of the time. Was given a lot of room to grow and professionally develop, but had to be a self-starter about it. I felt the atmosphere encouraged you to ask not just for equipment but opportunities to learn or work on different projects.
Cons
With a little perspective and time, I do agree there were some voices within the organization that were able to speak a little louder and did sometimes become a bottleneck. I also felt like sometimes timelines were a little bit overwhelming, and you could find yourself scrambling to meet deadlines that ended up not ultimately mattering. Sometimes the philosophy and attempts to improve process seemed to be a little overwhelming. At a certain point it felt like we should stop developing the process and implement it (although process improvements were overall positive and welcomed). Lastly there sometimes could have been some more clear and consistent communication across teams/employees (tracking lunch was something I remember being like a 40/60 split of people that did or didn't actually track it as tracked time (unbillable), and even when it was officially addressed it seemed to be a little muddled).
