Pros

Some really loyal senior people that are also good mentors

Cons

The leadership probably fails everything in their control and stay in business If a company can't keep their best managers, when it keep losing technical talent to big tech, When it fails to accomplish the most cost effective way of hiring good research scientists ,foreign graduate students , who are familiar with working in US government funded research projects , which is BBN's core business. When it doesn't try to get out of your comfort zone in the changing business landscape or does not try to diversify revenue sources, it should eventually fail. But being owned by Raytheon means it won't. Raytheon could fix some of these problems of course. But they don't want to seem to try. Don't even get me started with HR or IT. I was shocked by the variability of the professionalism and competence when it came to the support personnel.
