Pros

There is a percentage of employees who are the nicest people you’ve ever met, and they are the sole reason I stayed as long as I did. Plus, it’s cool to travel the country for events with a bunch of fun employees who are the same age as you.

Cons

If you want to succeed, just keep your head down, do your work, and don’t have opinions. They removed the week off for the winter holidays and removed summer fridays, then laid off several staff members and have begun outsourcing work to cheaper teams in other countries and relying heavily on the help of AI programs. There’s a huge expectation to work unreasonable amounts of overtime and constant miscommunication amongst teams. There is also an intense hierarchical system in play and regardless of how long someone has been at the company, the lowest job title on the totem pole will always be blamed (so it will always be you). The yearly annual raise is laughable and doesn’t keep up with inflation, which is hilarious because base salary is 10k-15k below market average to begin with. Entry level roles make overtime, and because of how much overtime you’re expected to work, if you get promoted you’ll end up making less money. The company is tone deaf to the fact that at least 50% of lower level employees work side jobs since the salary is so low. It is very cliquey and feels like all the mean sorority girls got together to run a company. Managers are obsessed with micromanaging every task and the double standards at play are insane. You’ll get berated for doing something your manager does on the daily. They like to preach a “Fail Up” mentally of not being afraid of failure, then find reasons to get rid of staff when things fail.

Pros

Opportunity for growth within the company, great focus on not only retaining but growing inhouse talent. Tons of different sales roles to apply for. Ability to work remote full time.

Cons

Perhaps not the most competitive salary initially but can easily work your way into one.

Pros

The hybrid work model, I guess?

Cons

Do yourself a favor and filter this section to only the 1 star and 2 star reviews, because those are the only accurate reviews, at least for RX Global in the Norwalk office. At RX, you are overworked, but also underpaid and undervalued. Employees at this company are just a number. You are paid a comically low salary, no overtime, and HORRIBLE benefits, all for them to use and abuse you. You are expected to work overtime throughout the entire year. You are not only expected to travel for your own shows, but you are also required to volunteer for other shows and attend other external events throughout the year, that always fall over weekends. Have a good idea? Something that can propel the business forward? Doesn't matter! Unless you are VP level or above, your ideas are worth nothing— If anything, they're laughed at. On that note, unless you are VP level or above, not only do you have no autonomy, but you are essentially a dumping ground for admin work. And last but not least, the company culture is one consisting of gossip. Be prepared to be gaslit, micromanaged, and emotionally manipulated if you consider working here. Oh also, non-existent growth opportunities!
