Pros

Lateral and upward movement options. RaceTrac promotes from within and allows you to move laterally if you so desire. The benefits also are very good. Profit sharing/retirement/medical/dental/vision/etc.

Cons

Managers sometimes treat subordinates like they don't know anything. The flow of information from the retail employees to the corporate office is almost non-existent, leaving retail employees feeling that they are unimportant. But RaceTrac is working to be more open to knowledge sharing from the bottom up.

Pros

*Flexible hours *Cool coworkers *Depending on store needs you can stack hours *PTO *Give scholarship to pay for schooling *Can become a lead or manager within 6 months to a year.

Cons

*Corporate having us do unnecessary task like cleaning the pumps. (Have to do it within 10-15 minutes) *Morning shift is the worst shift (way too busy due to morning rush and lunch time) *No breaks *Expected to clean restroom stalls that has diarrhea splattered all over toilet and walls. Depending how bad it is, they'll call professionals. *Certain customers who complain about everything or try to get one up on you by having you shorten your draw.
