Pros
Weekly pay, regular set schedule for managers, two weeks vacation after one year, overtime available every week. Good benefits if you can get them
Cons
Cons far outweigh the pros. You get weekly overtime, but base pay is low for the work required. Manager is a title, but you are expected and looked on as an associate by upper management. Many hurdles to getting your benefits-if you get them at all. Many times forms are "lost." Upper management is consistently negative and pressure is on subordinate managers to provide negative feedback to associates. Upper management pushes managers to process negative paperwork to make it easier to terminate people. Store manager has a lot to do with employee moral. Most store managers are negative, have a chip on their shoulder. I have watched employees threatened and intimidated. Positive feedback is non-existent; promotions are mainly political. No annual raises. I would never work for them again; and many feel this way.
