Pros
Those with an interest in Railways will enjoy the process of piecing together itineraries. Though there are targets, you are not under huge pressure to meet/exceed these.
Cons
*Very Heavy workload with no additional pay for inevitable overtime. *Very limited career progression opportunities. *Top Heavy and culture of nepotism, despite the small size of the company, a large number of directors hold redundant positions but are clearly very well paid. Some of the most senior positions are held by people with no experience in the industry. This stems largely from the Company being family-owned, hence the best positions are kept within the family. This is likely to stunt the company's prospects in terms of long-term growth. *Stale, corporate environment with 1950s style management practices. *Poor pay and commission, even for travel. *Lack of ethics toward customers. Very high-mark-ups on packages and unnecessary profiteering.
