Pros

smartest, honorable, ethical, insightful coworkers I've ever had.

Cons

no checks and balances, no separation of church and state, no systemic accountability, ZERO benchmarking and forecasting for setting managers/divisions/department annual fiscal expectations. Living insanity, all must act like its normal. this just scratches the surface. there is much that is disturbing in this organization. It took three years to accept the cute man who smiles graciously to all, takes pleasure in reminding people their lives are in his hold. Public (in meetings with many people, sometimes 20 plus) degradation of staff in front of others. Its always the smart ones, the hard working he does this to. To the boy bimbo crew he keeps around, this is done more privately. Maybe just a couple of the bimbo crew present. They have security. He'll yell and degrade them. Nothing to do with business at all. ZERO. The company(ies) are the platform he uses to express his cold, dark psyche. Only incompetents make him feel powerful. He is such an incompetent, he couldn't even come up with his own platform for his vomit, he just used what Daddy gave him.

Pros

Lots of freedom and independence, not much micro management, can come up with cool ideas.

Cons

Hard to advance, people stay in their spots for a long time, remote employees excluded from advancement in general. Benefits are bad, health care terrible. 401k match is weak
