Pros
The people I worked along side were some of the brightest I have ever met. Rain Bird seems to hire good folks with great education and skills to match. As a whole my team members in engineering and marketing were excellent.
Cons
When your are hired on you are led to believe that they will promote you if you do your job well. Not true. They seem to know how to hire talented people but they have a hard time recognizing your contribution to the company. They never, and I mean never, share financial information about the company as a whole. There are some individuals that were promoted to senior management that just makes you scratch your head and ask why. My own manager understood the frustrations but his hands were tied.
