      Pros

      Products are quality. Founding family cares about their staff, products and company.

      Cons

      National and corporate level management are still stuck in the mud. Yes, Rain Bird excels, but that’s largely due to the historic power of the name. Many of those based in Tucson at the senior level could disappear tomorrow and the company would still thrive.

      Pros

      Lots of freedom and independence, not much micro management, can come up with cool ideas.

      Cons

      Hard to advance, people stay in their spots for a long time, remote employees excluded from advancement in general. Benefits are bad, health care terrible. 401k match is weak
