There are worse places to work in fast food, at least here the practices are sanitary - Crew Member Raising Cane's Employee Review

Pros

I've worked in a handful of quick service restaurants, and Raising Cane's was by far the most sanitary and responsibly ran. Managers very much stated and practiced the importance of food safety practices. As a restaurant with raw chicken as a main ingredient, they're really putting themselves under the microscope of food inspectors, and the location I worked at prided itself on never failing an inspection.

Cons

Most of the cons you would expect for fast food were also happening at Raising Cane's at the time I worked there. The pay was very average for the area, which is to say, not much at all. The opportunities for advancement were also pretty much nonexistent. It's a job where you show up, you do enough to not get fired, and still go home feeling sore and demoralized about your future. The quick service restaurant industry standard mistreatment and lack of concern for employees outside of if they're still marginally alive to show up for their next shift.

Pros

Friendly co workers and supportive team in general. Lots of free merch,+1 dollar per hour past 10pm

Cons

No breaks or shift meals, asked you to stay late every shift and got offered Amazon gift cards as extra compensation for various favors like covering late night shifts at another location or coming in early or staying late to deep clean the store, and I never received an Amazon gift card nor did any co worker who was made the same offer.
