At Rakuten Kobo, we review employee compensation against external benchmark data at least annually to ensure we remain competitive in the market. We look at total compensation - base, bonus and Rakuten stock options (which are Full Value Stock Awards). Also, we encourage all team members to discuss their career goals and learning development plan with their manager during the mid year and/or year end review.
