Pros

Its a great place, I've been with them for over a year now, they have this perk of giving you an extra day off when its a long weekend, like if monday is off they give fiday off too to give you an extra long one during summer. I have met a lot of folks who have been sticking with them for 10 years and more, shows the culture they have. I am happy with my current compensation, but give the current economic situation I might need to jump ship when I wanna get a house in Canada Unlimited sick availability, knowing the fact that you have that option, you are bound not to take unecessary sick days (from my ppersonal experience)

Cons

Hmmm I can't think of any, I know 90% of the companys out there give 15 days paid vacay, but I feel not just kobo but in general it should be 20.

Pros

Free ebook every week, good benefits, free lunch every day if you’re in the office.

Cons

Extremely siloed to the point where people in the same team don’t even communicate. A lot of people that are hired are not fit for the role they are hired for. A lot of favortism, same people getting recognition over and over again even for mediocre work. They try to sell this image of being a friendly brand/company to work for but there is a good amount of hostility, cliques and politics within the org that make it difficult to navigate. Pay is not competitive.
