Pros

There is great team work amongst the nurses. It is very team oriented. Every one is willing to help you, you never feel alone or fully on your own. If you ask for help, you will get it.

Cons

As a new employee, you sometimes have to float to Inland Valley Medical Center, our sister hospital. You don't know when you are going to float until about two hours before your shift starts, sometimes it is less than 2 hours, so if you live far, it can be hard. Also, sometimes when it is slow you do not get full time hours, you have to use your PTO to supplement the hours you missed from getting cancelled. It is not always slow, but it can happen sometimes.

Pros

This is a great place to start off as an RN. Not too busy but it can be. Not too high acuity patients, but sometimes. It is a nice balance to get your feet wet or if you prefer lower acuity and pace, this is the place for you!

Cons

Smaller hospital, see less variety of illnesses/injuries
