Cons

Unit is often short staffed; could use ancillary help such as CNAs, unit secretaries every day/night shift.

Pros

This is a great place to start off as an RN. Not too busy but it can be. Not too high acuity patients, but sometimes. It is a nice balance to get your feet wet or if you prefer lower acuity and pace, this is the place for you!

Cons

Smaller hospital, see less variety of illnesses/injuries
