Pros

Hospital used to have many great RNs and staff. However, that doesn’t exist anymore since most staff are travel nurses.

Cons

The company doesn’t appreciate their staff. They hire travel nurses in order to ride it off than paying their loyal and hard worker staff. As many knows hospitals specially UHS and Southwest who own Rancho Sprinngs and Inland Valley is a for profit company and during the this pandemic they don’t have to pay the travel nurses and they use government help. With saying that the hospital has lost many great and experienced RNs. They are short staffed and many are concern with patient safety care. There are no comparable raises or market adjustments to the area or other hospitals. There raise this year and last year was less than 2.5%. Even though Rancho springs Patient Revenue is $1,647,715,215 ( it’s public knowledge. Look it up)

Pros

This is a great place to start off as an RN. Not too busy but it can be. Not too high acuity patients, but sometimes. It is a nice balance to get your feet wet or if you prefer lower acuity and pace, this is the place for you!

Cons

Smaller hospital, see less variety of illnesses/injuries
