Toxic - Avoid if you value your mental health. - Employer Brand Manager Randstad Enterprise Employee Review

Pros

Compensation and benefits are generally good, as you'd expect from a large global organisation.

Cons

Culture The culture is toxic. It comes from the top down, despite C-suite leaders making all the right noises in company town halls. That culture permeates to senior leader level and then down into head of department level. Focus at C-suite is on the scores of the 'anonymous' employee survey, with senior leaders pushing their teams to improve scores. Feedback is never acted on, and panic sets in at the end of every quarter if the scores haven't improved. Leadership In the department I worked in, it got worse. Pressure to deliver for clients (the business is struggling) resulted in every decision being scrutinised and questioned. When things got tough, instead of pulling together, the result was finger-pointing and throwing colleagues under the bus. The head of our department wasn't equipped to deal sufficiently with these problems, and spent most of her time trying to advance her own career instead of caring about those who were looking to her for leadership. HR do nothing. If you value your own well-being, don't apply for a role here.
