Business Outlook
Pros
As a sales associate, you don't make commission, but the discounts and range membership are good perks. The business/back end is all taken care of as an instructor, but the pay is not great compared to what you could make on your own. It doesn't matter how many students are in a class, it's always $25/hr. As opposed to working for oneself, and seeing increasing returns based on class size.
Cons
The company culture is the definition of the Peter Principle. They love to promote unqualified people into leadership from within, so systems are often a mess and make little sense. Associate pay is awful. $10/hr. You could make more flipping burgers. It also means that RUSA doesn't attract the best people, often.
