Pros

Great Place to develop skills, and learn sales, marketing, air conditioning, and customer service. Good pay, and benefits. You get out at 4:00 every Friday.

Cons

Upper management has driven, very good employee's out the door. They are very difficult to work for. High employee turnover rate. Vacation policy stinks. Employee's are often overworked, then when they are not getting things done because they are overworked, the blame is put back on them. And they are told they need better time management.

Pros

- opportunity to grow your career in whatever direction you want - owner gives employees power to make own decisions...just need to back it up with a (written) process - established company (30 years) but has a startup feel - the APR Control (product) just works and the proof is in the pudding...easy sale because it gets a lot of people out of common HVAC challenges - great pay, benefits, and work life balance...never had to answer an email or call before 830 or after 5 pm (close at 4pm on fridays). plenty of vacation and never got a request denied - family atmosphere...everyone wears different hats and you're never left hanging on your own. great team support

Cons

- only reason I left was because I changed industries - due to the smaller nature of the company, you need to make sure you're self driven and take things on yourself without getting your hand held

Pros

After a year at Rawal Devices, I'm very happy I made a move to come here. My favorite thing about RDI is the continued support of career development, as well as their openness to new ideas. As long as you can back up your ideas with legitimate points, chances are they’ll let you run the project from conception to completion. Great work-life balance, as well as a very lenient vacation policy (on top of company closing between xmas and new years). It's a place to not only develop skills, but also to grow into larger roles within the company.

Cons

Most sales/presentations are completed through phone/webinars (with less than 1 week of travel per month, if any), so not for the salesperson who wants to be on the road a lot. Office hours are M-THURS 8:30am-5pm and 8:30-4pm on Fridays.
