Flexibility of hours Incredible proprietary resources, including tech, research, and home office assistance Nice people (in my branch, at least) Good conferences

Cons

Pay as employee is mediocre at best, advisors make more but on a commission only basis Small offices (could be a pro if you're into that) Standardized proceedures within offices are few and far between No HR dept.
