Difficult to move up from role. Advisor Assistant is career ceiling unless you want to be an advisor. Pay not great unless advisor helps with comp. If you have a good advisor you can get a lot of comp from them. Some advisors don't pay on top of company salary and then you are stuck with a relatively poor salary. Depending on who you work for can be very stressful work environment
