      Stable job if you can find a program with predictable, strong performance

      Pay raises, promotions, and overall recognition is slow to come Not everyone who gets promoted or gets paid more than you actually contributes to the work and is more experienced

      Pros

      9/80 and every 2nd Friday off, generous vacation time.

      Cons

      The company is 100+ years old and functions almost entirely on inertia. Senior Management is totally disconnected from the day to day, and it shows in the content of their "community" video meetings. They talk about diversity but have no interest in applying it. Most of the time they totally ignore the needs of their disabled employees.
