Pros
Raytheon Technologies is a great place to get hands on Experience with cyber security. If you have a security certification( Security+, CISSP, etc...), a clearance and you are willing to learn you can make a great name for yourself. The work isn't hard but requires diligence and attention to detail. You will have lots of free time also. So long as you are reachable you can find plenty of time to work on college or any personal projects. The 9/80 schedule is a huge plus. I saved to much PTO by moving all my appointments to Fridays.
Cons
The biggest draw back to working for Raytheon cyber is there is no real lateral mobility and very literal upward mobility, There is no other role for a cyber professional at this site besides auditing so don't expect to become an ISSE or anything technical. And if you want to move up there needs to be a new position/team lead available or someone else has to leave. Get your experience and be ready to make your move to the next step. Also as an ISSO sometimes you are used as a catch all for any responsibility someone think they can justify you doing. Lastly the pay at Raytheon is not competitive.
