Cons
you would think that joining a big firm has stability, but the technical team is on recent government funding which would explain why everyone is new. This was not disclosed during interviews. vague replies on how long is left. engineering practices are virtually non-existent. code is pushed to production without testing, things break more than they should. it's clear the engineering leadership has not worked in a tech firm before, lack of hands-on experience is telling. poor decision making by leadership is then blamed on employees when features are not finished in time and builds/products fail. leadership circles are obvious and operate on a "like you" "don't like you" system. can be seen when people on either side give suggestions. product features are at times unrealistic, solutions given by technically-inexperienced leadership impractical, resulting in product solutions not making sense and running unnecessary infra cost. If you are looking for a stable MNC with scalable, maintainable systems and a mature engineering culture, this environment will be disappointing. It operates like a startup hoping to break out, rather than an established engineering organization.
