Blame and punishment culture. Management believes in ruling with negative reinforcement rather than positive. Constantly emphasizes that "we are not a family", but we are a "high performing sports team". If you're not performing you will be replaced by others who want the job. You will basically work because you fear losing your job, not because you're motivated and inspired to do good work for the company.
