Pros

Smart, ambitious people that don't really fit the traditional agency mold; the company is privately owned, so it makes investments in people and infrastructure ahead of the curve; single P&L decreases the amount of political crap you'll see at other, similarly sized agencies; the agency has a handful of truly differentiated content and analytics offerings that help W2O stand apart from competitors

Cons

There is a lot of pressure to "be different" from every other agency and think 2-3 years ahead of the market. That coupled with what management calls "the inverted pyramid" of seniority at W2O can lead to extremely long hours as you climb the ladder here. Good news is that people are recognized for their contributions, both internally and by clients. But, it's not the right place for everyone.

Thank you for your feedback. We agree with you- our company culture prides itself on pragmatically disrupting the status quo. With loyal and dedicated team members like you, we have been able to position ourselves as a leader in the industry delivering world-class offerings. To your point, we have run into some pain points within the infrastructure, due to our growth, but have since started to fill those gaps and implement programs such as W2O University and The Hallway. We appreciate your comments and ask that you continue to share your thoughts with your reports and our HR team.

Pros

- none. this company is soul suckingly inefficient and they prefer it that way

Cons

- the most dishonest and toxic work environment that I have ever been a part of - the most unqualified management that I have come across (I have worked across numerous agencies - the work is sketchy at best and clients are grossly over billed. Pressuring employees to over bill clients and trying to force inaccurate or incomplete work through the purposely inefficient review processes is common practice at RC - if you do not over bill your clients your managers will begin to micromanage you in a manner that hints at you not doing enough. - Account teams know nothing about media or advertising and make the most uninformed promises to clients and that media activation is constantly on the hook and being blamed for - they hire very little or no men in general. this place is like a toxic middle school atmosphere, it is truly exhausting to be a part of. - managers will routinely insult you in a way you've never been insulted before at work and nothing will be done about it - information is usually gate kept and teams will prevent you from doing your job while management is asking that you contribute more.
