Pros

Remote work environment $500 Amazon credit upon starting for home office set-up $500 fitness credit upon starting

Cons

Far too many to list, so just an executive summary: THE worst agency I have ever worked for. Staffing structure is bizarre. Culture is beyond toxic. It's apparent how the fear-driven, throw-you-under-the-bus, talk-behind-your-back mentality has impacted the mental health of so many young people who work here. If you show any signs of having any type of life outside of work, another account or three will be added to your plate immediately - but ask your manager about it and (s)he'll play dumb. Go down the street (or online) to any other agency and you'll make the same pay or more for putting up with far less. This place could care less if you died tomorrow other than it would possible create some actual work for senior leadership to do other than composing emails and coordinating speaking points for status meetings all day.

Thank you for sharing your experience and candid thoughts with us. This input helps us know where change is needed. We know from ongoing feedback that we need better ways to allocate and distribute work across teams. And there are several things happening to improve our model. As a healthcare company, we understand better than anyone the importance of physical and mental health. That’s why we have teams implementing no meeting Fridays, we’re reassessing our billability targets, and we provide benefits such as an EAP and our suite of Modern Health benefits to ensure everyone has the support and resources necessary to stay healthy. --Brian Gibbons, Head of People

Pros

- none. this company is soul suckingly inefficient and they prefer it that way

Cons

- the most dishonest and toxic work environment that I have ever been a part of - the most unqualified management that I have come across (I have worked across numerous agencies - the work is sketchy at best and clients are grossly over billed. Pressuring employees to over bill clients and trying to force inaccurate or incomplete work through the purposely inefficient review processes is common practice at RC - if you do not over bill your clients your managers will begin to micromanage you in a manner that hints at you not doing enough. - Account teams know nothing about media or advertising and make the most uninformed promises to clients and that media activation is constantly on the hook and being blamed for - they hire very little or no men in general. this place is like a toxic middle school atmosphere, it is truly exhausting to be a part of. - managers will routinely insult you in a way you've never been insulted before at work and nothing will be done about it - information is usually gate kept and teams will prevent you from doing your job while management is asking that you contribute more.
