Pros

Their bubble tea is tasty i guess

Cons

For starters, the first interview resulted in the woman not knowing my name and didn’t show up at all until I reminded her twenty minutes later. These people will give preference to those who are Asian, attractive or both. Will show hostility immediately when you aren’t able to fulfill their extreme needs. They also have been posting administrative job positions while making them to crew member work because they’re severely understaffed. They’ll throw you to work. They don’t care about you. Just don’t fall for it. Very biased company, no sort of compassion whatsoever, very cold and prejudice if you’re not the person they desire. Will overwork you, regardless of job title. They will make you do the same thing a crew member does along with extra responsibilities for low pay. Very exploitative.

Pros

Kinda fun, friendly coworkers, making the drinks themselves is easy

Cons

They only schedule one person closing by themself every night. It’s completely ridiculous, customers will literally harass you and tell you to hurry up when there’s a whole line of drinks and you are the only one there. Not only does it get busy but there are SO many cleaning tasks to do, it is far too much work for one person to do and get paid minimum wage for it! It’s also incredibly safe, especially for the young women working here in this mall that hardly has any security. Quite literally anyone can walk behind the counter and attack you. Owner always wants to “save labour hours” Meanwhile he’s is buying Tesla cyber trucks with all his money, and giving CRAZY big bonuses to his management. Btw, the owner visits every store and will yell at you for absolutely anything and everything that you do, just for fun, and he’s a real creep towards young Asian women. And yeah it’s like someone else commented here, the only way you can get anywhere is if you’re Chinese, if you speak mandarin. Otherwise you’ll pretty much just be a lowly minimum wage making barista forever.
