Pros

None that I️ can honestly think of. It was fun interacting with the guest. And meeting people from around the world.

Cons

To start I️ did leave the company unprofessionally (I️ did not give notice). I️ could not take the environment anymore. I️ started a couple months ago and my first impression was negative from day one. First nobody is happy and miserable. There is virtually zero training. I️ was thrown on my own on my third day. What makes it worst I️ was held accountable for mistakes I️ did not know about. In fact there where many times during my short time there I️ would be called out for things I️ never been trained on. I️ was constantly told that I️ give the hotel away for free when guest asked for discounts. I️ mean when guest would be seriously upset about something, I️ was basically told to let it go. I️ really do see how we would provide great service. Or that anyone would care about it. I️ was told constantly to refer to the employee handbook to reference polices nobody ever told me about. The ironic thing is that when I️ finally gave up on real hospitality, I️ finally was given a employee handbook after 3 months. So I️ gave up on the company. They do not seem focused on people at all. There have been many time where I️ had to work double shifts because someone calls out. Which I️ don’t mind doing as a manager but, it would be nice if someone could stop and ask if you need to take a restroom break when your working 17 hours. Maybe it was just the property I️ worked at. Hopefully other locations have it better. It’s really sad because the hotel does have potential to be excellent. But they seem content on being average.

Pros

hey seemed to be adapting to the idea of work life balance. We have flexible scheduling and cross training opportunities to work in other departments when the needed shifts align better with personal schedules.

Cons

None to talk about really

Pros

Do you notice all the positive reviews say they are from General Managers? That's because Sr. Leadership mandated they write positive reviews to off set all the bad ones. Cohesion!

Cons

The benefits are bad (no 401k match), no vacation time first year and then you only get five days - imagine that - five days vacation in 24 months! Healthcare is not great and expensive. Always shorted staffed - that's how they make money. No WFH. No cafeteria.
