Pros

I have held many positions here in my almost 13 years with Move. From sales to customer care and everything in between, working very closely with the sales team, admin team, management, sales operations, finance, payroll, IT, etc. Overall I have loved every minute of it. It is no lie, the sales team is under a lot of pressure but isn't anyone who has the potential to bring home $250-$300k a year or more? You don't make that kind of money working 9-5. If you want a mediocre salary from a sales position then Move is not for you. You get out of it what you put into it, period! It has been my pleasure working with such talented and dedicated peers and mentors that keep me motivated to always do better and want better. I have never worked for a company more dedicated to their employees. They are a huge believer in hiring from within and promoting those who put in the effort. Their benefits package is amazing and the culture is overall a strong one. Thank you Move for 13 great years and hopefully 13 more.

Cons

At this point I have no complaints. I am grateful to be employed by a company that I actually enjoy working for.

It is really inspiring to hear from someone who has spent so much time with our company still maintains such a positive attitude and passion for our company. I, too, hope that we continue to create the environment that keeps you here for another 13+ years.

Pros

Great pay and opportunity for advancement if you can get on the right projects that will succeed. For the most part I have the tech I need to do my job and my coworkers are really smart capable people who I learn from every day. I feel challenged in my work and that makes me feel engaged and interested in the problems I solve daily. Flexible vacation time and great benefits.

Cons

It can be incredibly chaotic at times, bordering on toxic. People are on edge and passing blame around like a hot potato. Hierarchy, power plays, and territorial politics create land mines for the unsuspecting on any given project— depending on your team or organization you’ll need to tread lightly to survive. They only hire in Austin right now, so any open roles seem to take a long time to fill, but the work still piles on.
