Pros

1. Move matches an employees 401K by 50%. 2. The insurance isn't bad. It offers Medical, Dental, Vision (free) and more. 3. The location is great - close to Ventura County and Los Angeles County. Plus the office is near freeways, Costco, Albertsons, PetSmart and banks. 4. Move has a casual environment - Jeans or shorts are ok to wear anytime. 5. Move offers a free health seminars and a wellness program for employees. 6. Move also offers training classes on things such as Time Management Strategies and Conflict Management 7. The company brings in fresh fruit once a week.

Cons

1. Rather than promoting from within, new hires are overly experienced. This keeps long term employees from being able to learn new things and move up. 2. Employees are not given raises but senior management receives bonuses. We are asked to sacrifice for the company yet senior management does not tell us how they are sacrificing. 3. Some employees are permitted to work from home and others are not. It's unfair and obvious that some groups are favored compared to others. 4. Every few years, new management comes in, hires all their friends and begins to spend money. They have ‘new’ ideas that have been tried before and failed to work. As before, these ideas fail and a few years later this senior manager is removed and replaced with another. The process starts over.

Pros

Great pay and opportunity for advancement if you can get on the right projects that will succeed. For the most part I have the tech I need to do my job and my coworkers are really smart capable people who I learn from every day. I feel challenged in my work and that makes me feel engaged and interested in the problems I solve daily. Flexible vacation time and great benefits.

Cons

It can be incredibly chaotic at times, bordering on toxic. People are on edge and passing blame around like a hot potato. Hierarchy, power plays, and territorial politics create land mines for the unsuspecting on any given project— depending on your team or organization you’ll need to tread lightly to survive. They only hire in Austin right now, so any open roles seem to take a long time to fill, but the work still piles on.
